Well he has done some things mainstream wise but I think he’s more in that AJ Styles/Seth Rollins category to where, every wrestling fan knows who they are but if you ask a non-watcher or casual who they are they would be like “ummm?”.

Nobody cares for Cena or Punk outside the WWE though. Stacy Kiebler bombed and tried to get married to stay something..same with Torrie Wilson..Batista has done NOTHING OUTSIDE the Marvel vehicle .. damn sure isnt no movie carrying star...if Bryan or Cena weren't on those reality shows, they would of been canceled by now.

Pretty much. I do it based on this: who does my aunt or grandmother or uncle or any extended family talk about. Who do they know without watching any wrestling. Now my aunt and cousin know Bryan because of total divas and total bellas but they know him as “Brie’s husband.” John cena is the one name they have that still rings bells outside of the internet and audiences who watch on a weekly or show up at events.

Rocky has made a name for himself outside of it and so has Batista but Dave has to learn the thing that rock had to learn: yeah people like you but they want to see you in certain things. Rock didn’t become who he is now in Hollywood until he changed his image a bit and really leaned into being himself and picking the right roles. Batista will learn that over time and his big movies have been really good picks on his part. A James Bond movie, the marvel stuff, and blade runner.

Anyway it’s still Cenas world to the outside world and he’s walking off into the sunset soon.
