All countries with Universal Healthcare have heavy regulation that is readily enforced by the federal government and if Private Insurance does exist - it plays a very minor role.

Neither of those features are present in what Joe Biden is proposing.

Polling throughout the primary showed an OVERWHELMING majority of democrats want medicare for all, defunding the police, clearing student loans.

Biden literally ran against all of these and won in exit polls. PEOPLE DID NOT VOTE FOR POLICIES. THEY VOTED TO BEAT TRUMP. The polling showed it in every exit poll. Medicare for all 80%. Medicare for all candidate? Lose. Why? Trump must lose.
