THIS

The average voter was so uninformed they literally thought Biden wanted Universal Healthcare ...

They have no idea what they are voting for. But Obama and the media said “vote Biden”

so they did
That's such a huge problem...we have a lot of low information voters out there who don't do research and they don't vet candidates.

They the same types of people who call us (wrongly) "trump supporters" for wanting to hold Dems accountable.

I've been irked by the "anybody but Trump" mantra too...and the blue wave...but shieet....we are really dealing with a predator class of republican that's opined to destroy America and it's population whether directly or indirectly through negligence or or sheer unprovoked terror.

Bernie had a better chance in 2016...

He would of got completely destroyed in this current political climate...

Rethuglicans best ads against Biden have featured Bernie calling him a progressive...

They clearly wanted to run against Bernie and are attempting to spin Biden into a radical leftist socialist which no one is buying...
Naw all of this stuff with the pandemic, police brutality, economic downturn is more of a reason for the policies Bernie has been advocating for.

See... I can entertain both sides of this argument here.

The thing is, Milquetoast was dead in the water after Nevada. He was expected to win SC, but the subsequent emptying of the field and endorsement of Milquetoast didn't seem... organic I guess? I'm still confused as to how his campaign is deemed successful, the nikka failed upwards until Super Tuesday :mjlol:

Bernie didn't make things easy for himself with the bashing of the establishment at every turn, but I think his profile would have attracted voters otherwise turned off by politics as usual in the general election. Closed primary dynamics tilted things towards Milquetoast, but if Milquetoast was that popular, posters on here would be debating how his first 100 days would look. They would not be shytting themselves at a prospect of Trump winning again by close margins in battleground states.

But this is where we are. Re-elect a moron, or go with Milquetoast.

Is Biden’s plan a step in the right direction?
Nope. It will be the end of going in the wrong direction. He's status quo, but that's a cup of old water in the desert right now.

They can try to make this election about choice, but there is no choice. We are voting to survive until the next election.

:patrice: so all of these "vote blue no matter who" and "Trump got to go" types would not vote or vote for Trump instead of Bernie?:jbhmm:
A lot of fence riding republicans would vote for Trump over Bernie.

You see these Never Trump republicans? A lot of them would just close their eyes and vote for Trump.

They HATE overt socialists like Bernie. At least Biden can dress up any government intervention he wants to accomplish.

Some of y'all get confused by your affinity to a plan versus the popularity of the plan.

That was the point of the primaries. Vote Biden.

You had your chance. :francis:

Personally, I wanted Warren... but here we are :francis:

I would imagine the fence riding Republicans are fewer than the first time youth voters Bernie was reaching out for. Also you have to remember that Hillary lost Obama voters to Trump on the issue of trade and Bernie doesn't have that problem.

Good analogy. This election is about making sure we actually have another election in 2024.

That economic insecurity argument died 4 years ago. :francis:
