I can't name one person in my life who could afford to own a game console and buy games for it but can't afford internet. That's a non-issue, IMO. It's 2013. If you don't have internet, the least of your concerns should be $400-$600 games consoles and $60 games.
The complaint is that if for some reason, MS fukks up on their end w/ their servers or your internet is temporarily down, there shouldn't be any such restriction to playing a game you bought with your own damn money.
It's more than you think bruh. Some people have consoles in their kids bedrooms with no internet connection to it. Some of my friends young kids have an xbox with no online hookup in their bedroom.
It's more prevalent than you think.
But then again, does MS care about those consoles not paying for Live?
