they wont remain at zero...all things kept even lets say sales will be split down the middle between the 2. now consider that MS does this and sony doesn't. how will sales be split then? if 3rd party flocks to MS how will that work if sony's install base is bigger? the online pass is enough tbh because theres still, at the very least that illusion of consumer choice.

Depends on what Game developers you're referring 2.... and I would hate for either of them to add this type of used games filth to their consoles but its almost inevitable and will happen sooner or later.

the flipside to this is that it may give MS more favors with 3rd party publishers/exclusives. The more I think about it, there's no way MS does it and Sony doesn't (except in the area where it is illegal to do so).

The money publishers lose from used games sales is nothing compared to the money they would lose from not having their games on PS4. So that makes me think there's no way MS is doing this unless Sony is as well. Because the days of exclusive third party games are gone.

And if turns the publishers do decide to fukk over Sony, Sony did patent that shyt so they're probably just waiting to implement if necessary.

So in all, yeah we may just all be fukked in the end
