If this is true for either of the next consoles. I won't bother with them at all. I expect most console multiplats to come to the PC anyway.

Game stop is closing 500 stores. They themselves are saying that its because xbox is putting out the word there will be no used games on the 720. They are eating mainly from xbox sales. Now is the time to start a retro gaming store because with all these Gamestops closings friends in the hood can finally get 360s and come up on all of these used games.

Sony could capitalize on this in a big way if they announced on Feb. 20 that they aren't restricting used game sales and will not require an internet connection to play games. That would earn them a lot of goodwill and force MS to reconsider their position (if this is true).

These people are sick. This is going to hurt the gaming industry. They cant see how these used sales help their companies. If a friend plays a used game and gets faith in a dev because the product is so quality he may not want to wait for a used price to play a sequel or another game from that company. I guess they dont factor in those kind of purchases.
