:childplease: you just boosted warren g's actual album sales from 3mill to 5mill just to try to prove your weak point so who's ignoring facts and switching goalpost's......FOH:scusthov:

and your stupid azz dont know what u speak so check your stats:sitdown: wu- outsold warren G in the 90's...the fact that you even said that is:snoop:
wu-forever by itself went 4x plat idiot...warren G's next 2 struggle plates after the first album BOTH went gold:ohhh: we can even add the next 3 classic albums he dropped after 2000 those all went DUST:myman:

Dumb idiot, Regulate the album sold 4 million, and Regulate and This DJ singles went platinum and gold respectively, hows that 3 million?

And Warrens 2 90s albums sold 6 million, Wu Tangs 2 90s albums sold 5 million

6>5

"Well, I didn't want to be waiting," G explained in an interview. "I wanted people to hear what I had. I would have had to really wait for Snoop to do his thing, [Dre] had already did his thing when we did The Chronic. I didn't feel like waiting, you know? Dre was like, 'You need to go on and be your own man and get out there and do your thing.' So I was like 'sh*t,' it hurt but I went out and did it." (Hard Knock TV)

Warren G On Not Joining Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre At Death Row Records, "I Didn't Want To Be Waiting" [Video] | SOHH.COM

:ehh:
***snorts 329seconds***

Funny dre will say that to Warren all while keeping Snoop and Nate, and to think none of em would have been there had it not been for Warren.

Warren G's debut did literally SAVE Def Jam. Anybody from that era and a true hip hop head knew this. Def Jam in '93 was in debt and filed for bankruptcy. They literally was about to fold. The "Regulate": song was that HUGE. That was a monster crossover hit. Then the album dropped and was multi-platinum, one of the highest selling albums of 1994.
Anybody saying "what about Meth & Redman" really do not know their history. For starters, both of those albums came out LATE of '94 and in particular with Meth, blew up commercially in '95 when that "All You Need" remix dropped which pushed Method Man to platinum. By that time of THOSE releases, Def Jam was back a float because of the Warren G album.

Muddy Waters came out before those albums.

Muddy Waters came out in '96.. it barely went Gold at that time. The Nutty Professor Soundtrack sold more that year. Def Jam has a successful documentary called "The Show" a year prior with a platinum selling soundtrack. And lets not forget how HUGE that LL Cool J album was. Lets not forget that same time Muddy Waters came out, Foxy Brown's debut came out and sold like hotcakes.
