A bunch of wide open pick and roll dunks anyone could have done in those instances. And that takes skill how?

Coach K said they want bigs that can play multiple positions, shoot, defend and pass and they post vids of him dunking like everyone else on the roster except Paul can't dunk.

Finishing around the basket is a skill. Anybody that's played basketball knows that. You arguing that everyone could do what Blake has done is ridiculous. Why aren't they doing it? You sound like Water Pistol Pete, Jr. Stop it.

All Coach K is doing is telling everyone to elevate their game. Of course, you don't want a bunch of one-dimensional players on the Olympic team. You want a little more versatility than that. If you are saying Blake is one-dimensional, we'll just have to agree to disagree. Son is not rebounding like Kevin Love, blocking shots like Ibaka, passing like Gasol, shooting like Nowitzki, low-posting like Aldridge. But he's adequate to good in all those areas I just mentioned. Son is not just dunking. He can play. He's not great yet. He has a lot to improve. But you're acting like he shouldn't be considered for the Olympic team. And that's just crazy. What separates him from a lot of big men is his athleticism, ability to run the floor, and ability to finish at the basket under contact. I'm sure Coach K wants that, too.

People are forgetting about Blake Griffin's passing ability.. Before CP3 showed up the nikka was dishing out delicious dimes.

Everyone who would be considered for the Olympic team can do what you just posted in those clips. Im not comparing him to Ronnie Turiaf. If you want to be on the Olympic squad you need to be able to do something well other than dunk.

Odom was the best player in 04, top 4 player on the 2010 team... what's the problem?

This is when you know you're on the right path. You start to get that irrational hate. Kobe gets it. LeBron gets it. Blake's starting to get it. And before one of you stupid, simple simon muthafukkas says I'm saying Blake is on Kobe or LBJ's level :stop:. All I'm saying is the hate is starting to look and sound similar. Y'all need to log off the coli for a little bit, take a couple breaths, come back, and say some shyt that isn't dripped in dumb shyt.

Blake's a good player. He's more than a dunker. He, like many of the players who will also make the Olympic team, can work on many facets of his game to get better. Definitely room for improvement.

They're will be players on the Olympic team that can't do what Blake does just like there will be players that provide some shyt that Blake can't do. It's called a team. Every single player won't be great at everything. You'll have people playing roles. Just because Blake is most known for his finishes at the basket doesn't mean he can't also rebound, play defense, and pass. His shooting is another story () but I won't be shocked when he starts knocking down the mid-range jumper consistently, too.
