well no, the point is hes down at the level of cap when he should be bigger than everyone. Is MOS2 officially announced yet?
So am I the only one that felt Superman warranted his own trilogy?

Are you talking about when they announced the dates for Flash, Shazam, etc.? There was no mention of a MOS2

I missed this announcement so that's why the date matters and it has no director or release date so it is tentative at best.

what are you talking about?...by himself, he is bigger than almost every other comic character, including team ups...only bats and bat/sup together can make a claim to being bigger....and that's a toss up.....as for cap, he is made bigger when teamed with avengers, and even then he's not on supe level.....
as for jl: how is him being the leader a down thing?.....that makes no sense.....no matter the status of each individual character, they dont make them bigger than the team in those books....that's how team-ups work...they might get their own moment to shine, but he/she never have the full focus, it's about them team.....with that said, when shyt hits the fan, jl relays on him most of the time...and he is the 'leader'...so again: how does that bring him down?....
they announced MoS2 in their lineup....no, they didnt set a date...

I agree him having a gadget for everything does give you the "c'mon really son"? but you see him dig deep. you see him get his ass kicked more times than not.

lol what?...there are plenty of superman related things that you named and more....he has a shytload of toys, his symbol is on book bags, lunch boxes, he's in video games, etc....to say he isnt is not being truthful....
you're right, there was no date announced nor a director...they only announced those for the jl movies....but they did announce the film, which is usually how it goes...you announce the movie is coming, then you pick a date, director, script, etc....marvel does it too.....marvel didnt announce a date and/or director for most of their movies at the time they announced them, but does that mean they not happening?....exactly...
yea, he gets his ass kicked, but you know he's gonna win cause he's the good guy....the same shyt goes for supe: he gets his ass kicked a lot for him to be so powerful, and yes, you know eventually he's gonna win.....so what's the difference between him and bats?...why do people hate supe, but love bats when they do the same shyt.....only difference, one of them has the powers to realistically fight back/win and not just pull something out his ass/belt to win.....

Marvel actually announce movies and the date they come out together. They wait later for director though you are right. MOS 2 has neither.
not true, marvel didnt announce dates for most of their movies at their event...they announced dates for avengers 2, antman, cap, and infinity wars....the 3 next films and the end game....at the same event, they didnt announce dates for inhumans, gotg2, thor, bp, capt marvel, nor doc strange...they didnt announce the dates until later....dc did the same shyt...they announced dates for bvs, ss, ww, and jl....the next 4 movies....but they announced the other movies....and have been filling in the dates as they go....

I'm saying that he's not as big as he was even during the Superman Cartoon era/Lois and Clark of the 1990s. There's a perception out there that he's boring. WB needs to do a better job of selling him. Remember Superman Returns.
The release date for "Avengers 2" was announced in 2012
In July 2014, "Captain America 3" was the farthest movie away that had a release date, with 7 other MCU dates announced.
In Oct. 2014, these 7 dates ended up being Doc Strange, GOTG 2, Thor 3, BP, Infinity War 1, Captain Marvel, Inhumans, & Infinity War 2
you are not well informed....the article you posted was after they announced the dates....even in the article it says 'they are offering major updates, including the release dates to their highly anticipated upcoming projects'....now why would they need an update for release dates if they already released them?....exactly....we knew about the projects cause they announced them earlier in the year at their event, but not the dates....

Actually, they announce the dates first then tell you the movies. Watch the video of them announcing Phase 3.
