this isn't true....supes isn't boring and there is plenty of 'real' conflict in his stories from him as a character, to how he's trying to relate to humans, to his villains, to how the world reacts to him, etc...
So am I the only one that felt Superman warranted his own trilogy?

I agree, he needs his own trilogy, but it didn't have to be before the jl movie....seriously, I don't know why everyone wants origin stories for characters we already know....everyone knows the origin of bats, supe, spidey, etc....no need to keep rehashing it over and over, which is what trilogies tend to do....then they reboot the series and we repeating the same shyt over and over again.....as long as they give him his own movies to focus on him along side the jl movies, it's cool....that goes for other characters too.....
so, cause kids might talk more about bats or spidey, means supe isn't the standard for heroes?...lol ok...anyway, the issue isn't dc/wb needs to do better with the character, the issue is the same it's always been: people just don't wanna like the character....that's not saying people have to like the character, they dont, people can like/dislike whomever, but for the most part, people tend to go out of their way to try to dislike supe with whatever bullshyt reason they can think of....the most bullshyt is: he's not relatable cause he's an alien.....but a billionaire running around in a bat suit or a teenage genius getting bit by a radioactive spider are relatable cause they are human lol.....people live vicariously through batman and spidey, and they cant do that with supe....

No. The reason is he is to powerful. Literally they go out of their way to not cap his powers. He's tying chains to planets just to move em really? DC struggled just to allow flash to be faster than him. Like c'mon.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but do you think there's a better reason why Supes is no more popular then Captain America? They both play the same role but Captain America not top 3 like Supes is.
Yea the problem is they keep showing superman's origin story when its already played the fukk out. Plus they keep using wack villains. Have an established superman up against Darkseid or Braniac....instant piff
True. Man of Steel was decent, but way too Nolan-ized after he proved he didn't have the juice anymore anyway (TDKR). Not the take on the character I wanted to see.
That said, yes, Superman deserves to have his own slate of films.

The problem is that I seriously doubt the superhero movie wave will last long enough for them to make it to a new trilogy for Superman. Assuming they're busy with JL and Wondy, Man of Steel 3 wouldn't drop until 2019 at the earliest. You really think the iron will still be hot by then?
you naming shyt from the 60's/70s...supe hasnt been that powerful since the silver age....in fact, every year they make him weaker and weaker....but what you said is an exact example of what i'm talking about people going out of their way to dislike him.....you dislike him cause he's 'too powerful', seriously?...lol ok....

that's not true....i mean, of course these studios want as much money as they can get, but MoS made the most money outta any of the comic book origin movies that have recently come out..that includes iron man, batman begins, thor, cap, etc.....but not making enough money isnt the reason batman is being included....dc/wb are following the comics, but yall keep ignoring that to run with whatever narrative yall create to discredit sup, dc, and wb....

You are operating on old information. Superman is not one of the most popular superheroes anymore. Especially with kids. He’s top ten but has fallen and yes is comparable to Captain America in popularity nowadays.
this is another example of what i'm talking about when i say people wanna complain just to complain....not saying that's what you're doing, but what you said is an example of that....
i say that cause when superman returns came out, they gave people a continuation of the chris reeves supe, and people bashed them for it, saying it was outdated/unrealistic (side note: realism expectations for a comic book movie is dumb as hell, but whatever), and they wanted a different take on the character....so what does wb/dc do? they update/change the character to match what people asked for...what were the results?..the same people complained and said this wasnt the supe they grew up on, know, and love....that they want the chris reeve type supe, smh.....
as for this supe, we havent seen him be supe long enough to judge him yet...MoS was mostly him being clark and accepting/learning to become supe....it was an origin story....bvs will show us more about this version of the character cause in that movie universe, time has passed and he's been supe for awhile, so we'll get to see how he's adjusted to being superman....
