So based on that interview with Stic, it sounds like Nas asked him for his help with production and some concepts for what would be somewhat of a concept album, probably because he knows Stic hasb a good feel for the subject matter and is probably a little more astute when it comes to politics and black history than him. They got together and brainstormed concepts and ideas. At the most, maybe Stic contributed a line or two to three songs.
Sounds like when a fiction author consults people for a book they're writing.
Nas still wrote his whole catalog and is still the GOAT. Seems like a non-story to me.
