So all that crap about Luck being more "pro ready" than RGIII was based on race?

You guys got to realize this.WE are still minorities. There will always be more white head coaches then us.Always will be! Face it not many of us growing up WANT to be coaches. Hell there is only 1 black offensive coordinator in the whole league (Hue Jackson). We defensive coordinators and linebacker coaches, yet when it comes to leadership (Owners of teams,General Managers,Quarterbacks)There are few of us. Coaches is the only area of progress. Crennel,Lewis,Smith,Tomlin,Frazier,Rivera (He spanish but still a minority and brotha in the struggle lol) etc

Using that logic, how come there aren't more white players?

:rudy:

And saying not many of us growing up want to be coaches is nonsense..

I've coached youth sports for years and 80% of the coaches are Black males.. They just hit a glass ceiling, when money and power become a bigger issue and it's usual because of nepotism ...

The craziest part of the debate is Cam and RGIII won college titles and Heisman Trophy, draft really high and they still didn't get respect until they lit it up on the field and even then they didn't get respect. RGIII coverage isn't was it should be. Had that been Luck who put up 40 points it would of been wall to wall coverage.

Really? The only things they were talking about on all the highlight shows last night were RG3 and Peyton. Thats all they are talking about his morning too.

but breh, relative to the amount of players in the league, that number should be a lot higher (i know you're not disagreeing with this).

just sayin', just because the sytem is improving incrementally, does not absolve the league of its current state nor absolve the media of how they portray minorities involved in sports.

we can acknowledge that the system is better than it was even a decade ago and at the same time not be reticent of the fact that there is a lot more work to be done.

It's one fukking game. Yall are so gotdamn reactionary here.

Chicago has a top 5 defense. NO has a bottom 5 defense.

Let the season play out first. Both QB's look like they'll be starting for many years.

didnt you make a thread about MV7 being :trash: :dwillhuh:

I do agree with this, Black athletes in general still get the shorter end of the straw but I also think we get too reactionary and defend those who don't really deserve to be defended.

RGIII - 19/26 320 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs 139.9 QB Rating
Luck - 23/45 309 yards 1 TD 3 INTs 52.9 QB Rating

:whoo:

Ya'll know good and well that if Luck was black and RGIII was white, the media wouldn't have been talking this whole time about RGIII needing time to develop and Luck being ready to play right away. That shyt was some covert racism. They were basically implying that RGIII wasn't smart enough to master an NFL playbook as quickly as Luck simply cause he's black.

These crakkka ass crakkkas did the same shyt to Killa Cam last year. I hope RGIII proves them wrong again.

And all this time I thought it was cause he played in a "pro style" offense at Stanford.:shaq2:

TYRONE GA!
I'm definitely happy and pullling for RG3, but he didn't have to go up against that Bears D and Tampa 2 D from Lovie.

Nobody grows up wanting to be a coach breh. These white dudes just get thrown these jobs when they realize they suck at actually playing the game

Im not hating. Im saying yall nikkas are trying to give Luck shyt because RG3 played well against one of the worst defenses in the league who was missing 2 of their best players. This shyt is absurd. If he couldnt play well against them then the skins would have really been in trouble.

Ill make my judgment after he plays a D as good as the Bears. Its the only way to be fair.

Breh you do know that in 2011 the bears and saints both gave up 21 points a game and the Bears only gave up 18 less yards per game then the Saints right? :usure:

:childplease: Where is this Top 5 Bears defense shyt coming from? Them nikkas were ranked like 18 last year? They had a good game against a rookie QB,but who's to say Aaron Rodgers,Mathhew Matthew Stafford,Matt Ryan and all the other good QB's in the NFC wont light that ass up.
Edit : Forgot about that boy Eli

Thats problem bruh. We want to be "boss" but dont wanna grow up to be a true "boss". With being a coach,at least you dont have to worry about somebody taking your knees out

Lmao that shyt had me like :wtf:. The bears are known for great d's but right now they are middle of the road as far as defenses go. If Luck had gone up against the niners d then you may have a point.
