So all that crap about Luck being more "pro ready" than RGIII was based on race?

If I say Peyton Manning is more a more cerebral QB than Michael Vick is that racism or is Peyton one of the most, if not the most cerebral QB to play the game?

Luck was basically the Peyton Manning of college. You can't deny this.

Blaine Gabbert ran the spread in college and some of the same people said he was more NFL ready than Cam....

Mike Mayock for example

Mike Mayock rates Blaine Gabbert as the top quarterback | Atlanta Falcons

It's code for "******s arent that bright"

OP is on point.....

Get 'em...The same dude that toyed with the SEC defenses and all those former/aspiring NFL Coaches couldn't scheme to stop him couldnt possibly be more ready than Blaine? In fairness, nobody gets all their predictions on players right but when ALL the evidence points in one direction and you still choose the contrary

:comeon: " a brotha has to wonder...................what's up"

Your initial premise is correct but cerebral doesn't equal great. There are qb's smarter than half the ones in the league that couldn't play D1 football

But Cam ran the spread too. The spread option at that. And Cam went #1 while Gabbert wasn't even top 10.

Plus Mike Mayock is an idiot.

Poor example on so many levels.

Perhaps...

But he's watched 10 times more football than me and you combined and somehow came up with a concept that Gabbert and Locker were more NFL ready than Cam..

And if you feel that he's an idiot why feel the need to justify his idiot opinions just one sentence earlier?

You say my example was poor on "so many levels"..

Okay.. Name them....

I already explained why your example was poor. In this year's draft we had a pro style QB and a spread QB vs last year when we had 2 spread QBs. The classes don't compare.

Not only that, Cam went before Gabbert so that doesn't really support your claim.

And the one source you cited is a known idiot.

And if you check the link you'll find nothing about "NFL readiness." He simply rated the QBs according to his opinion.

And also you'd be lying if you say you expected Cam to perform the way he did last year because his rookie season he looked like a completely different player than he did in college.

Im not making an argument that NFL GM's and scouts are racially biased...They have too much at stake to play those type of games...I'm saying that some of the members of the media and "insiders" that cover the league are...

And I can give numerous other examples besides Mayock as well but I'm sure you will dismiss them all as idiots (which is partially the point)

So tonight the Bears D held Aaron Rodgers to 219 yards, 1 TD, 1 pick, and 5 sacks. The only reason he got that TD is because the Bears offense consistently put the D in a bad position and didnt do shyt all night. I told you dumb mufukkus the quality of the opponent matters.
