I haven't gotten into Napoleon's conflicts as much as I have Hitler and WWII but Napoleon was a brighter military mind imo who seemed to largely run into the same problems in the end of overextending France's military capabilities

Yeah to us now it seems insane but Germany had their way with Russia for a lil bit before the Soviets had a chance to regroup and catch their breath.

Germany had a force to be reckoned with and its not inconceivable that Hitler could have taken over Soviet territory if he had planned better.

nope you can't separate Nazism and the concept of Lebensraum that caused most of their bundles in the East, their ideology was poison and often militarily stupid even with the talent of their armed forces and it was always going to lead to defeat for them against a man as ruthless and determined to win as Stalin and his Red Army.

Their ideology didn't matter in the early stages of the war. If they had made an alliance with the Soviets they would have won the war and crushed all other powers. However, no one would have accepted their idiology down the line and it wouldn't have spread, probably creating conflicts with their allies. Let's face it both Japan and Russia would have used Germany for their own benefits. Not to mention they would face a long struggle with international terrorism which would have crippled their economy and livelihood. So I don't think they would have somehow held onto that power for very long even if they conquered the world.
