The type of contract Baker got is usually reserved for a guy who plays 20 mins a game. I don't know if he's even ready for that type of role.

Sorry but Baker is whack, always has been.

The Tim signing was bad because of the price tag and this is whack because Baker is. I'm positive there are 10 free agents better than both Baker and Tim.

And NY still doesn't have a PG, which is probably the most important position on the court.

The front court is solid. The back court is :scust:. The Knicks respond by overpaying Tim Hardaway Jr and re-signing Ron Baker :dame:

We got 80 mill commited to Baker and Tim H jr.. smh..

Smh Ron Baker fukking sucks man...

Why does Bakers sucking matter to you all if we need to tank for 3-4yrs?

KCP for 18 mil on 1 year for the Lakers

:francis:

I know we should tank 1 more year so a deal like that probably wouldn't be on the table because you know KCP will leave but still

Who are these true bargains I keep hearing about? :jbhmm:

Alan Williams making less than 6 per for 3 years while grabbing 6 boards in 15 mins per game as a sophomore. Shabazz Muhammad is still available. For our vet PG need two perfect stop gap contracts George Hill for less than 20 per year with only 1 mil guaranteed in his third year and Milos Teodosic making 12 mil per for two years. Maybe Bazz ends up making more but I wouldn't be surprised if Williams and Muhammad combine for a number right around what we gave THJ alone. That'd be two additions to our young core, one at a key position of need and another giving us a legitimate PF which is something I've wanted the Knicks to add for three offseasons now. The keys here are cheaper deals per year, less years in the commitment and addressing positions of need rather than a position where we were doing okay already.

With Sam "Trust the Process" Hinkie,

Who was the veteran that was signed to help MCW understand the PG position?

Post Hinkie

Was there an established center that we all can point to and say Embiid could learn from?

Throughout the last few years, were the Sixers making the type of signings that we can point to as examples for the Knicks to follow?

I absolutely understand using cap to absorb contracts to get more picks but it appears that well is dry for this ball club as we haven't even seen in the rumor Mill that people were hitting us for that. *Remember, the team with cap isn't the one who is calling other teams, it's usually other teams with a weight to drop hitting cap friendly teams up to help them out.

I see that the K.J McDaniel's was actually drafted by Philly...why isn't he still on Philly developing?

Are there any young prospect signings that are even still part of their roster?

Without saying the names Simmons, Embiid, Fultz, what, on the Sixers, related to signings, can you say "Ah ha! This free agency signing makes the Knicks look stupid!"?

This is the first year of an actual focus on youth and Knicks getting dragged because they aren't perfect. shyt is tiring.

Actually, imagine if the Knicks kept Okafor and traded Noel...

A 4 team sounds like we're not getting screwed. It took 4 teams to get Dwight from Orlando to the Lakers and Orlando actually got a good return for Dwight.

On the low if this goes down I will give all credit to Morey. He is one of the best "traders" in the league. Having him motivated to get your player probably has him calling everybody looking for what the Knicks want in return. All Mills has to do is not accept trash
