KCP before the Reggie drama and KCP after the Reggie drama was like watching two different players. There's star potential there, but not in Detroit. They were right to cut ties and now he'll probably be a bargain piece because most SG hungry teams are out of cash and needs...there was a period where he looked like a max guy, now I bet he gets had for Waiters money (20 million less than Timmy total) or cheaper and depending on the coach and situation I could see him thriving.

Really, I don't like this deal. And I don't support is as any kind of tanking move, because I think there have been, and will be better values out there than 17 million PER for Hardaway.

And it is insane to me, that this deal would get offered while this team is still looking for a GM. That's something that almost never happens.

Because it's a Dolan/Mills favor kinda deal for a guy they probably liked as a person, and they have a relationship with agent or somebody like that. Dolan and crew do these all the time.
