you are proving my point lol
fair or not fair, knicks have expectations for KP that he may not be ready for, and if he doesnt produce he will be booed
lets see how he deals witth that
hes already coming into the season unhappy, and i highly doubt hes excited about a rebuild

How is that proving your point???
His season will be determined successful if he makes significant progress in his game, not based on wins and losses and making the playoffs like it was for Melo. Blame for the shytty season??? The Knicks are gonna stink whether he makes the leap or not.

I would actually rather a more optimistic thread title that expresses enthusiasm about the youth. :stopitslime:

And if he doesnt he will booed
Which i dont even think is fair to him but thats what will happen.
I never said anything about wins or losses
You are arguing with yourself lol
Also, even if kp improves, he doesnt strike me as a guy who wants to be in the lottery every year
We shall see

Thinking about the trade the Knicks would be wise to not waive/stretch Noah's contract for another 2 seasons. So that Kanter and the majority of Noah's contract would comes off the books at the same time creating max cap space.

It's not a great FA year but there are a few interesting RFA SF (Stanley Johnson, Winslow, and Oubre) the Knicks could go after and Ricky Rubio who could add to what I am hoping is a team looking to make a playoff push. While I doubt it I would be pleasantly surprised if a star wants to make that move at that point of the team rebuild but PG and Kyrie would potentially be FA too.

Your post lacks context. Melo, during his prime, has been on teams trying to contend for the playoffs. Porzingis, an up and coming, is going to be the number one option on a rebuilding/tanking. If he doesn't make strides (consistent scoring, anchoring a defense, better rebounding, efficient shooting, etc), then I think it's fair to criticise him.

:blessed:

Hawks fans talking shyt. :mjlol:

Of course your bytch ass would edit someone else's post to make it seem like they was shytting on me. Not surprising from a p*ssy like yourself.

The knicks spent the last three years crushing Melo's trade value, which was already low due to the NTC.

Melo forced the team to gut it's talent, when he forced a trade, rather than signing that following offseason.

He's one of the 5 best players to ever play for the team, and they stunk with him.

I'm glad we get to watch him with a couple other stars to play off, I'm sad we couldn't get a 1st round pick for him.

This team is going to be bad this year, but this is the full tank/rebuild they needed to be doing in the years after they drafted Porzingis.

For the Knicks:

Let Frank play though the mistakes, see if you can flip Lee to a contender for a late 1st, open up the offense, coach up defense, compete, lose, try not to get too frustrated, and scout the 2018 draft.

For the fans:

Try to be realistic about your expectations. Be excited to see young players competing. Understand that the losses are going to pile up, and we're fully rebuilding - adding one of the top 5 players in this upcoming draft would actually give us a great young core. Try not to cannibalize each other in the wake of a deal/decision we all knew was coming.
