If Melo warranted it, we would of gotten one in return. Melo's shytty play these past few years has brought his value down. I've been saying that Melo already gave The Knicks his best years when he became a free agent.

First off, I'm glad Melo is in a better place and has a great chance to compete in the WCF against the warriors. I do not expect them to win but I do expect a good series. Melo is about to prove everyone wrong that he can play off the ball and be a better player and very productive as a 3rd option.

As far as the knicks are concerned, I'm not happy with the return that we got for melo. I didn't expect cavs giving us bk's pick obviously but I expected to atleast get a first rounder or a good young player. But atleast kanter has a player option and will most likely opt out.

I expect the team to be fun to watch but it will get painful to watch real fast, I don't expect more than 25-30 wins this season which I'm completely fine with. A top 3 pick would be a great consolation prize for getting rid of melo. I love bamba, but I don't know where he would play since the plan is to move KP to center. I love porter and bagley who I would welcome with open arms. Luka would be the number 1 option and possibly moving frank to SG.

I think the knicks lineups this yr should be

PG-
SG- Lee
SF- timmy
PF- KP
C- Willy- I don't wanna cut off willy's growth with a possible rental with kanter.
