Song definetely Wasnt for the makaveli Album, my guess is they did that song around the time they also did street life/ just watchin and If theres a cure
That shoutout from snoop was Added Later on but they did the song together when he was still Alive, its not a song they put together later (pac frequently references snoop during the song)

makes sense. If theres a cure was done for doggfather, i remember snoop mentioning that he was gonna put that song out on doggumentary when asked about what he was gonna do with the collabs he took of DF. However i have yet to see it on a tracklist for the album.

Also to add. What do you think hurt tha doggfather album as a whole? Removing 2pac collabs, better single choices perhaps? Lack of suge involvement in track selection due to case

They shouldve released Midnight Love as a single for the Album.

I think it was originally intended as a single for the album but took of retail last minute. I agree had suge had a chance to look over the album we would have got a better project that and thats even with or without pac passing. But imagine having dogg collar, street life and head doctor as follow up video singles
