To give you an example of how much Dre's production has fallen off.....listen to this Game track off his second album. This was produced by Just Blaze

Now listen to Sticcy Situation.....it's cool, it just doesn't hit as hard.

These use the same exact Issac Hayes - Hyperbolicsyllabicsesquedalymistic/ Public Enemy sample.

It's very clear which one hits harder

Yeah he definitely has the mentality of going for the sure fire success, no balls to take risks, but if he would have taken some calculated risks he would have brought in even more revenue, case in point the Dogg Food album, he was shook to release that so Suge took it to Priority but it went double plat in the course of 1 year and that's with all promotion and resources being cut off exactly 1 month after its release (they even shelved the music video for "Respect") it had better first week sales than Me Against The World and the singles were doing well before they stopped working them (Let's Play House woulda been way bigger if they kept working it) so realistically his fear to take a calculated risk on that album cost his company millions of $$$...and hes a weird bald faggit but that's neither here nor there

Wow I knew priority distributed that album but I didn't know this all happened. Why did they stop working the album and why were their resources cut off? Was it the time warner situation that stopped Interscope from releasing that album, forcing them to go to Priority.

Album trash as fukk. Could not get into the production at all. Snoop was rapping his ass off tho.
This might be worst than the DPG album.

Only song I liked was the one with Method Man. That shyt was fire.

Listening to this new Daz album now and still gotta listen to that new Cube.
Cube is better. I'd go back and listen to that before this.

I have never seen people get so mad before about a record if you say you like this album (and I'm not talking about on here). Like I follow this Hip Hop CD Collector page on Facebook and people are legitimately ready to throw down if someone says they like this album. Very odd.

album is alright nothing groundbreaking

definitely better than Compton

Snoop sounded focused and Dre did the best thing he can do - stay the fukk out of the sound booth because nobody wants to hear him get his best Kendrick impersonation on again

I give it a 6/10
