Listening again and liking it more on the second play through. I feel like Dre & Snoop have like a twin album thing going.
Chronic --> Doggystyle
2001 --> Tha Last Meal
Compton --> Missionary

It's like if you like one, you'll probably like the other. I liked the Compton album for the most part and I'm fine with Missionary too. It is what it is :manny:

SOC isn't better than nikkazforLife. It's a great album, but nikkazforlife was on another level musically. Lyrics were dope on both though. And I love the Roots albums. I have them all, but there are none that are better than 26 chambers. Things fall apart is up there though.
One of the best produced albums ever made

But I can’t help but feel like I’m going straight to hell after listening to it

I've listened to Missionary more than GNX at this point. It's a solid listening experience.

I've been playing GNX like a mf and been listening to that new G Perico even more than that :yes:

This is gonna get some plays for sure. And as expected my son loves Thank You since it was in a Shrek movie :laff:

Is Nas and Pusha T the only 90s rapper still making music on the same level as when they first came out? Killer Mike too but technically he came out in 2003.

Richie Rich has been around since '88 and is still dropping quality albums.

The Delinquents still going just as hard as they ever did too (been around since '91)

This is a dope album....if you are an Old Head, you'll appreciate a lot more, bc it sounds nothing like what is currently "hot" in hiphop today, and thats what a lof of you in the comments have an issue with. I like Dre's production also - he's evolved....and Snoop rappin on this album is the best I've heard Snoop since damn near the Death Row dayz.

The comments highlight why Andre 3000 don't wanna put out a rap project at his age, bc rap fans don't wanna allow their legends to grow and make music that correlates with their age.....so it's not appreciated fully

This is a great project, make no mistake about it
