:picard: THAT MIGHT BE METHS
GREATEST VERSE EVER

Meth bodied that and been on a run for a few years now. For people not aware, Meth don't even curse in his raps now a days. He said he didn't want to make a big deal out of it but wanted to challenge himself and see if the fans noticed. He's been so sharp that nobody picked up on that.

Snoop sounds great on this but alot of Dre's production sounds hollow and soulless. Snoop sounding this sharp at his age needs to link up with someone like DJ Fresh

A Tonight Show album with him and DJ Fresh would be ill. Either that or a full album with The Mekanix on the boards is the only way I'd ever really look forward to a Snoop album again tbh.

Dre's other albums were great because the ghostwriters put in a lot of work lol (Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Game, etc etc), but this time...it's mostly a Snoop's solo album, with Dre production. Snoop probably didn't want to let other artists write his shyt.

Dre around like of Yes-men these days. He dont have people in his ear telling him what should stay in the vault or what needs to go

I actually fukks with this album.

  • The best Snoop has ever sounded
  • Love those blazer city lights overglamorized beats that Dre been on
  • Some garbage tracks but I treat them like background tunes
  • Meth fukking floated
Deserves a sticky, understand the frustration, the album will grow on you, and it is what it is :manny:

Is Nas and Pusha T the only 90s rapper still making music on the same level as when they first came out? Killer Mike too but technically he came out in 2003.

We now have trilogy of short films from Dre and Snoop :blessed:

The Wash was classic ... And DJ Pooh laced them with a movie that had franchise potential better than Friday ... Don't know why they didn't follow up on that but maybe it's time

But here are all of the Dre and Snoop short films

One might note that Dr. Dre, signing off on these results ... Likely points to high potential in the realm of film, as they are all of high quality

Would you not be as anticipant of a Dr. Dre scored film as you would a Quentin Tarantino directed film?

I also want you to imagine seeing this at 8 years old ... I was literally at this exact show (Worcester, MA)
