Album wasn't that bad. People on the internet like to exaggerate everything.

"WORST EVER!!"
"BEST EVER!!"
It’s Just like the Compton album, there is some decent stuff hidden behind all the unnecessary over produced music. It’s just not enjoyable to listen to. No once can tell Dre less is more.

Chronic and 2001 still sound amazing today because he allowed for his beats to breathe and let his hard drums and melodies do the heavy lifting.

The instrumental version of this album is straight heat. Beats might not have been what everyone expected but they're incredibly well-produced and sound just as good as any of Dre's other shyt.

my biggest problem is Dre's need to micromanage every syllable of nikkas' vocals. a lot of verses and hooks sounded corny with all the extra theatrics.

It's the hooks that fukk up this album to me, way too much pop shyt.

Snoop sounded amazing, Dre sounded the best he has in a long time on his features, the beats weren't mind blowing but they were clean and still sounded great. The themes, hooks and guests were the real let down.

Here I thought maybe a Deluxe was coming since we keep hearing the leftovers was the heat...

im pretty sure thetheir ego was a bit bruised of how the album was received, dont think they will promote the project much

Dre went from multi platinum midas touch to Marsha and Snoop not clearing 100,000 units together possibly...

These two are UNDENIABLE TOP 10 SUPERSTARS IN RAP HISTORY so yeah i reckon theres disappointment on all sides

Funny how those who didn’t enjoy the album have the most responses in this thread

Fair comment. It’s because i’m a big fan so I‘m probably most disappointed.

Did put a lot of these tracks in some playlists with recent Snoop tracks and they fit just fine. Those tracks are actually really good when split up that way. It’s just… what we got wasn’t what was expected... It’s ’just‘ another modern day Snoop album. No more no less.
