Without a monster single or a really excellent album, they weren't selling big.

50-year olds trying to see success in Neverland is a dub, lol. Rap is for and by kids...why yall always act weird when the first weeks come back on these old heads is ridiculous, lol. Eminem...that's it...and even his shhits is a fraction of what they were.

I just find it crazy Snoop dropped true West Coast music with DPG and Eastsidaz on his revamped Death Row but chose to go Adult Contemporary mixed with Country on his own album :snoop: .

We gotta update how we view sales for legends who have been in the game for 30+ years. There is no world where Snoop or Dre did 100k+ in 2024. It’s not happening. And for all the talk about marketing…no marketing black rap legends do equals a (white) rock legend band being able to announce new music/tours and have every rock radio station in the country promote it. Meanwhile rap radio is entirely focused on new music and barely acknowledges anything 5 years old, much less 30.

Good numbers for Dre. Good numbers for Ice Cube. Good numbers for LL. Salute the legends and if you fukk with the music what else matters?
if this one black legend decide to drop. 200k would be considered a flop for him
