Has anyone SEEN Snoop’s last 4-5 albums first week numbers? The fact this album is going to debut within the top 20 is a damn miracle that both he and Dre should be celebrating.

Snoop hasn’t been a consistent seller since 2014. Thats a whole decade!

More importantly a lot of the people who might care don't even know it came out.

I also wonder how much the tour situation plays a factor. A lot of these older rappers aren't touring consistently and when they do the shows are wack. It's hard to maintain your fanbase or keep them engaged like that. Compared to rock bands that regularly tour and become machines on stage at some point, unless drugs are in the way.
