musicmatch (I felt I was the only nikka in the world who used that). fukkn windows media player always used to botch my cd burns. Musicmatch held a nikka down with that speed and efficiency

Putting sings in a que and going to bed could lead you coming back the next day to find out that the connection timed out midway through the 3rd song on the list, so if you really wanted it you had to sit there and watch it d/l, restart the modem if necessary
It took me like a week to download Supreme Clientele in full because of this and the fact that I was d/l duplicate songs because some of them were named wrong. It was like blue balls because I wouldn't listen to it until i had everything.... Internet soldiers, we had to put work in during those struggle years
