reduce your ratio to 15/1 or better yet 12/1 :merchant:

start doing intermittent fasting(16/8)

there isnt much else to it, the lower you go the more protein/fat you should take in. considering fat is invariably tied to protein, the higher the protein youre taking in odds are the fat will increase too(as well as a significant decrease in carbs)

i wouldnt say fully fledged ketosis :whew:

but the lower your bodyfat, under a caloric deficit the body will part ways with muscle faster and faster(thus needing more protein)

ask kooked what it was like going from 165 to 158

for what its worth im currently bulking at 2400 @ 200g protein(12/1)

eating lets say 1800 cal @ 160g protein is pretty feasible without losing the ability to eat relatively normal

when you say 15/1 and 12/1 what do these ratios refer to?

It's a reference to my 20/1 cal to protein ratio in my cutting guide

15cal/1g protein is pretty safe and ideal for most cutting purposes, getting below 10% probably needs 12/1

Anything below 10/1 is probably unreasonable and difficult to maintain long term

Do you mind posting what you ate during your cut just so I can get an idea?

I went thru the last 10 pages. Excellent progress dude. I also agree re: military/shouder press about trying to have your elbows forward more. It also helps to clench your ass cheeks together, keep abs tight, etc. solid core goes a long way here as the foundation for the lift.

Also have you ever considered getting a pair of one of those $40 skeletoe shoes? When people wear the typical bubble heel track shoes, some of your force gets wasted as you drive upwards in the lift like in squats or deadlifts
