We don't live in an "if" world, "If's" switches up the narrative, we are talking about what's happening now, and CP3 (other than game 3) has outplayed Curry, to the point where commentators and the media were saying Curry wasn't 100%? No he's just getting out-played. Call it out for what it is.
What I'm saying to you is, the narrative for how well you're playing is based on whether your team wins or not. If the Rockets had lost G5, the focus would be on CP3 missing all those shots at the start of the game, and shooting under 40%* in the series. If you look back in this very thread, you'll see a ton of posts shytting on CP3 in the first half, crucifying him for his performance in this series, and dialing back to his past postseason failures.
CP3 has injuries too but noone up until last night had made a big deal about it. But the narrative before Game 3 was Curry was hurt. Nah, he ain't hurt, he just was getting out-played on both ends of the court.
And yet he was still performing better than CP3 - go figure.
Per your words, Harden has been one of the worst starters in the series, which means he's worse than CP3 also, so if that's the case, how would you explain Houston's 3-2 lead?? If Harden has been the worst starter in this series?
Houston's role players have stepped up, and the Warriors' haven't. Especially over the last two games -
keep in mind there's only been 1-2 possessions between the two teams in G4 and G5 - it could easily be 3-1 to the Warriors right now. There hasn't been a great difference in both teams' performances over these last two games. CP3 has been extremely inconsistent in this series, but it's been equaled out and glossed over because of how well the rest of his team has been playing, and the Warriors shooting themselves in the foot during pivotal moments.
