So this is on Kerr for the last 5mins of the game right? All I saw was steph bringing the ball up, immediately passing it off and eventually going to KD in the post. The rockets did a great job cutting off some of their passing lanes, so some of that golden state sloppiness isn't just on them.

This kinda puts a wrench in Lebron's Stans argument that Lebron lost to an all time great team :francis:

Kyrie > CP3
Capella> Triston
Lebron > Harden
Bench > Rockets

This kinda dings his legacy a bit..
basketball is about matchups not whatever individual game you got going on in your mind. styles makes fights

KD is usually a good option but Houston defenders did a good job of getting into him. He should have kicked it out and reset, but kept forcing shots. He can hit those though. I think the Rockets were just more composed than the Warriors. That's frustrating to see, considering what the Warriors have done the last few years.

i do think there will be a game 7, so i won't count the Warriors out. Its just alarming to see how careless they continue to be.

Obviously this doesn't always hold true but the Warriors look like they are destined for a loss if their only hope for victory is a comfortable double digit lead with 2 minutes left in the game. Hats off to the Rockets for fighting to the wire and grinding out two wins whereas the Warriors haven't really proven they can win games down the stretch at least this series. And for whatever reason they always fall back on unnecessary 3 point attempts even when it's only a single possession game. I will be a little worried for the Warriors if game 6 is close down the stretch like the last two have been.

Basically this -

shyt will normalize over the next two games, providing the Warriors just play like themselves. Both the last two games came down to 1-2 possessions - it's not like the Rockets were playing on another level - it was just 1-2 shots, that's all. And this is with them making tough, contested 3-pt shots in ISO, the Warriors were missing easy/open looks and trying to do too much by underplaying/overplaying with the ball. The Rockets got the most out of how they play, and the Warriors got the least amount of how they play, and yet there was barely any difference in their performances. The Warriors don't even need that to swing in the opposite direction to win, they just need it to swing a lil' bit.
Problem is Hardens play will normalize too. He’s due for a 30-40 point explosion and now he only needs to do it in one of two games.

Will it really though?

Game 1 v. T'Wolves - 44 points on 26 shots
Game 1 v. Jazz - 41 points on 26 shots
Game 1 v. Warriors - 41 points on 24 shots

In all the other games he's averaging - 24 points on 37% shooting.

He shot 31% in the last game of the Jazz series (where the Rockets came to his rescue once again), and 38% in the last game of the T'Wolves game. Quite clearly there's a trend of him underperforming as the series goes on - I mean how many seasons has this been happening for now?

There's a reason why CP3 is shooting terrible in this series too - you can't rely on shot-clock run-down ISO to score consistently.

even if you said Kerr is the worst coach to ever win multiple titles, you might still be wrong

If the Rockets somehow pull it off and upset the defending champs on Saturday/Monday...

Rockets adding CP3 >>> 73-9 adding KD?

Shyt is crazy to comprehend that CP3 impact on a 3pt shooting contender is more than KD on a 73-9 jumpshooting championship team.

:mindblown:
