This is far from the truth. Far, far, far from it. As I said, if the Warriors were up 3-2, you wouldn't have this view. It's half the reason why Harden has been one of the worst starters in the series (worse than KD, Curry and Klay), and yet there's barely any mention of it. Now, he'd be crucified to death if the Rockets were down 2-3.

We don't live in an "if" world, "If's" switches up the narrative, we are talking about what's happening now (real-time), and CP3 (other than game 3) has outplayed Curry, to the point where commentators and the media were saying Curry wasn't 100%? No he's just getting out-played. Call it out for what it is.

CP3 has injuries too but noone up until last night had made a big deal about it. But the narrative before Game 3 was Curry was hurt. Nah, he ain't hurt, he just was getting out-played on both ends of the court.

Per your words, Harden has been one of the worst starters in the series, which means he's worse than CP3 also, so if that's the case, how would you explain Houston's 3-2 lead?? If Harden has been the worst starter in this series?

The reality is teams dont do well pushing for the 4th consecutive year of finals appearances. The 2003 and 2011 lakers, and 2014 heat got washed. The crltics got blown out most games vs the lakers too in 87. It's hard

the celtics had a slew of injuries that, year and with the death of len bias it's not hard to see why.

Jones was basically playing a 6 man rotation in the playoffs. Walton was injured and didn't play, bird was hurt, mchale was coming off that broken foot trying to play with a pin in it.

It took one of the greatest clutch shots in history by buck to keep that series from being 2-2 with game 5 being in boston.

the 03 lakers had 2 many internal problems and were a robert horry game 5 make away from winning their 4th straight ring.

If there was a "big difference" between him and everyone else, he wouldn't be down 2-3 to a team without its two best players; led by a bunch of cats in their early 20s - all the while he can't be bothered to play any defense.

So we are going to ignore the fact that without him on the team they are probably the worst team in the league

They stopped playing their type of basketball.

The Warriors are at their best when Curry is the driver, not Durant.

Last night tho, they actually did play good basketball but had a lot of mental errors.

Also, if Durant is gonna post these smaller players up, he needs to get deeper in the post. He keeps catching it about 15 feet from the basket and ends up taking goofy ass shots.

Kerr was sounding like 2016 Finals Kerr in that press conference: stubborn as fukk.

Basically saying he's fine with force feeding KD for isos all game and scrapping their ball movement (ya know, the reason they're so successful in the first place).

That's like when he kept putting Ezeli and Barnes out there in 2016 instead of giving Barbosa more minutes.
Eh, KD missed some easy ones at the bucket early. He just gotta be better and get on the boards

The jokes have been fun and I'm pulling for the Rockets but after last night's game, I went to bed thinking "yeeeah the dubs will probably win these next 2" ... Especially if CP3 is out with injury.

I hope I'm wrong but my mind is telling me GS while my heart is saying Houston. I just can't see the Dubs losing as much as I hate them. :damn:

Yall know something drastic always happens to benefit the Warriors then CP3 goes down apparently. :lupe:

Can't do so much dumb shig if you're that smart.
They've always been like this though. Durant's just making matters worse because he's playing outside the system for some unbeknown reason.

There were a # of stretches where they were moving the ball well, but they just missed open looks, or tried to do too much with the ball. Which is funny because the Rockets have made all these improbable shots over the last two games, and the Warriors have been missing open looks and/or making it hard on themselves by not sticking to who they are - yet both games have come down to 1-2 possessions.

Things will normalize over the next two games.
