no company want to waste money on unnecessary things thats why alot of these companies give up the marvel property/or work deals out to others( ex. new line cinema, columbia picture, universe), your bleeding money just to keep the rights. Fox made a deal with Marvel with the show rights which a lot of you thought it wouldn't' be possible just last year...

look at the very popular blade at new line cinema, it had 3 films and tv series but went back to marvel anyway...

look at new line cinema with deadpool and morbius

universe with Hulk (marvel have it now not the distribution rights tho but if disney want it they can buy it from them)

universe with Namor movie rights(Marvel have the same problem just like the Hulk )

liongate with punisher and man thing which both went back to Marvel

The X-Men Universe isn't unnecessary for Fox. Deadpool made bank and now they have their new golden boy after Wolverine is done. If X-Men: Apocalypse flops then I'm betting they'll put Deadpool in the next X-Men movie. Besides Fox has until 2024 to put another movie in production, that's a long time to figure things out

I prefer this and Marvel not have every property. A new direction is needed but if Marvel got xmen other movies would be getting shifted and pushed back again. I don't want to have to wait longer for Thanos the gawd I need that carnage

This x100. I was shocked by how horrible the cast looked. They look like they should be on some b- level sitcom or in some straight to dvd movie.

Let's make this clear FOX is never, never giving up X-MEN. That's huge franchise for them. They will never give it up. They will put Deadpool into X-MEN if they have to next film. They just locked down Fassbender and MacAvoy for more films. X-MEN is NOT going back to Marvel.
