Days of Future Past is one of the best X-Men stories. The movie was just good.
The Age of Apocalypse was another fine X-Men tale. Mediocre reviews.
Phoenix Saga probably the most iconic X-men story. Not even touched.

Nightcrawler (bad ass in the 2nd movie,wasn't in the 3rd movie b/c he went to hell in the videogame, yeah that's the real explanation)
Storm one of the x-men leaders is a side gimmick

Cyclops, the boyscout who eventually becomes Malcom X ain't shyt in any of these movies

Well this go round we get singer trying to reboot what supposedly rattner fukked up.
So, maybe we get the brilliance of xmen ii, and restart where singer left off at.
So, hopefully we get that space odyssey and hopefully they jump the shark and have Xavier walk again and possibly fight with the xmen like the Jim lee skrulls, shiar, lilandra and Charles saga.

The problem with the fox xmen is they keep making characters with gateway crowd appeal into a draw.
When those are the lest interesting characters and then downplaying the lead character and best strategic commander in storm.
For a basic class rogue villain and the berserker.
When storm is who the xmen was about.
for most of the general run of the book after the relaunch.
So, we don't get any of that.
Nor do we get any of the Scott jean over processing.
Plus, we never went to outer space to show lilandra or the star jammers.
Which would have been a better explanation for the tech in xmen the movie.
Fox is just a piece of shyt company and they got this property.
All, because marvel lost their way and had to sell to the highest bidder as well.
So, this is all because marvel lost their way and we are all gonna pay for it till the end of time.
So get ready for shytty xmen films till the end.
