Washington has literally no interest in trading Beal but his name is mentioned like hotcakes on the hoop boards. It's wack.
His name is being mentioned in trade talks because the writing is on the wall. Wizards cant improve as constructed due to their cap situation and they are far from contention. Usually in that scenario you have to bust down a star for lesser but numerous assets. For example, the paul george trade was an example of this.

shyts confusing. He never said he want to leave, Wizards just had some down years because of injuries fr. They got a good young squad. If they all healthy they a playoff teams.

nikkaz acting like Beal trapped in hell and wants out. There’s way worse situations in the league.

Exactly. If they bring back Bertans and Wall is even 80% of the player he was before the injuries, they're most likely in the playoffs and their ownership is probably content with that.

They got a better shot at trading for Oladipo and hoping he can bounce back :manny:

They’re going to try to flip Wall before Beal imo. If Wall looks halfway decent next season, they’re going to look for some team to bite on that albatross of a contract

I'd like to see Plumlee get more burn. He brings energy and athleticism that can help the Nuggets extend on their runs. Like MPJPLS, he can't be left out there for too long, but he should be getting four minutes on the tail and head ends of 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th quarters.

Millsap out there really running around doing nothing. Word to Pat Bev.
MONTE MORRIS WAS 4-5 FROM THE FIELD
WITH 4 DIMES IN 18 MINUTES...

DYING WITH MURRAY
WAS THE PROBLEM.

I swear people blow Wall’s contract out of proportion. As you said, if he’s 80% of who he was that’s still a really good tandem in the East. As a fully healthy team they can challenge for the upper East seeds imo.

If Wall isn’t a viable option anymore then you can start looking to make trades and start over. But Wiz definitely gon give it another season or two. Getting a better coach would prolly help them big time. Scott Brooks is bleh :scust:
