Africans and African descendants are the only people walking this Earth's surface who are forced to carry the cross for their oppression. There were Indians who cooperated with Spanish conquistadors to topple ancient Central American regimes, I never hear them taking the blame for their fall. There were Native American tribes who fought with Whites against other tribes, I never hear anyone blaming Natives for their own disappearance. Anywhere you look in history, there are people who cooperate with the oppressors, but only Black people are to blame for their own peril.

Portuguese, Dutch, and more who went into Africa to obtain slaves were regularly slaughtered by African militias. It was the greed and coercion of a few that led to Africans selling other Africans out to the Europeans.

In my community dude could be havoc, a straight loser (no offense) can say his a convert and bag the baddest chick in sight and her parents wouldn't trip because his white and probably pay for the wedding. Mean while they would have high expectation of me, a stable career, big fancy wedding etc..

Usually when I call them out on it they just make excuses and pretend my questions didnt cut deep but I came to the conclusion all black women wish they were born light skin with long hair and thin noses, they marry white man so they can live through their kids.

This is stupid on so many levels... how do u know which one of "them" people lost their family. U could be looking @ an African like he sold u when in fact he probably had family stolen from him.

Furthermore Africans encounter a lot of hatred from other blacks when coming over here... I've had AA's and Caribbean black people hate on me simply because I was African. I don't then turn around and hate on them too, that just perpetuates the cycle of hate. There's c00ns on both sides, misguided fools full of mistrust because of lack of knowledge.

Its so sad and stupid to sit here talking about it would have been war if they did that to other people.... look @ the hoods today, its still brothers against brothers. Primetime nailed it on the head, if you're gonna speak on black history specifically regarding slavery then know your history. Africa is a huge place and descendants of slaves to the west came from a specific region not all of Africa. As an East African I often have to @ fools that say we including my people sold them into slavery... there was no ships sailing west from Kenya

I've had people say that "u sold us" bullshyt to me twice in person, once @ a barber shop and I quickly educated the brother on the history of why I have Nada to do with that as I touched on briefly above... no slave trade west from east Africa and u can't tell who the culprits were versus victims that lost family in the trade. Randomly accusing every African of being a part of slave trade is idiotic. My dad actually had a Caribbean dude beef with him in his office because of this same stupid idea that he sold his descendants... divide a conquer at its finest. White people in the office were lost like

We are told that we speak or act white, as opposed to acting black which would be what exactly? ... yup nothing but self ethering stereotypes

Plenty of AA and Caribbean women DON'T date African men, I've hit it off with plenty black women but as soon as they find out my background the story changes... it was all good when they thought I was from the west but if an African dates a Becky he c00ning lol.

People should judge each other on a personal basis, where your from doesn't make u who you are necessarily
