Dog NATO has literally been expanding eastward since the end of the Soviet Union. What Russia was afraid was going to happen is what has been happening the entire time.
What does this have to do with the original question?

The reason NATO was created was to deter Russia/USSR from expanding into Europe. Which is still a threat up to this current day

Kinda reminds me of when Biden told all those Black Civil Rights leaders they gonna have to start working with hispanics, because they gonna out number us, etc...

But this was way worst. Then again, maybe it wasn't, because Biden talked down to a whole group of Black people that day.

That’s a demographic issue that black people can solve by having more children and by telling their politicians to open up more immigration from black countries. It was also a private conversation that Biden held.

This was a public humiliation ritual meant to make Zelensky appear weaker in the eyes of the world and the Ukrainian people.

The problem with that is….thats logic-based. They have broken American politics and society as whole. People are no longer logical they are loyal. Peel the comments plenty of people have no problem whatsoever with this.
I don’t know man you got Republican Congressmen avoiding going home and senators telling Trump to his face they are going to sue him.

People are loyal but it’s 300+ million people in America that is a lot of people to call p*ssy?

Um, NATO kept expanding based exactly on what happened in 2022... Russia invading Ukraine :dahell:

Also, Russia invaded Georgia (the country) in 2008 and invaded Crimea (which was a part of Ukraine) in 2014.

All of these invasions literally proved why NATO was still needed even after the USSR collapsed.

The problem is once Dubya said. the dubya in world wide web was code for his initials or whatever back then. The digital propaganda was made public and has become what it is currently.

As the actual social idea or pulse of rhe country. Is literally a South African apartheid boer's propaganda machine. That misappropriated the letter x. To even wall off any mention of Malcolm x as well.

This shyt is purposeful apartheid calculated boer kuklos.

yeah i already got the westside/eastside justification :mjlol: .

maybe stop with the juvenile yankee name calling, which masquerades as political debate around these parts, and spell out what is wrong with what i said.

US mass media has done a job on peoples' ability to reason, to enunciate.

imagine entire networks that are afraid to even voice counterpoints.

:picard:

I'm from Europe. I was born in the Soviet Union. I don't really consume US media. I also happen to speak decent Russian. So I have a good understanding of the nonsense their propaganda channels produce. Every other European country manages to peacefully coexist. Even the likes of Turkey and Greece. Just not Russia. Maybe it's not the other 50+ countries. Maybe it really is Russia.

And it can't help that so many people mythicize Russia like it's some sort of misunderstood great empire. It's not. It's just a country with a surprisingly small economy and filled with people who are willing to die for their great overlord and mother Russia like some ultimate MAGA idiots. All while earning 300 dollars, drinking lighter fluid and living without plumbing.

Georgia attacked South Ossetia first. Russia, having a deal to protect South Ossetia, responded.

The illegal seizure of Crimea was in response to the Western sponsored Maidan Color Revolution which overthrew a Russian aligned Ukrainian government, much to the displeasure of the Donbas.

You’re missing context.

Note, I stated that Crimea’s seizure is illegal under international law.

For the unlearned, when Putin takes Ukraine, he's not stopping with Ukraine. His plan is to reestablish the USSR. Since he has Trump under his thumb, he knows he can start planning which country is next. Belarus is already in.

Our EU counterparts, currently our allies, may be forced to deal with the Chinese more since we have an unstable and unreliable president, costing us diplomatic capital.

Zelensky was right when he said we would regret this in the future. He wasn't threatening them, but warning them for what they are too dimwitted to see.

C/S this entire post, but I see the bolded get said a lot and I don't think it's accurate. Not that Putin himself should be believed at face value, but in his own rhetoric about why he just had to go and start a war, he complain a lot about moves taken by the USSR that he believes were historical mistakes. Making Ukraine a completely separate political entity from Russia is at the top of that list of complaints.

I say all of that to say that Putin's goal isn't to reestablish the USSR, but to reestablish the Russian Empire

Not seeing Russia as automatically the "bad guy" doesn't give you a free pass to ignore the consequences of its imperial ambitions.

you misunderstand. i don't view "predicted" russian ambitions any differently to US ambitions (both realised and predicted).

Claiming fairness while dismissing anyone who calls out Russian aggression as a "brainwashed fool" is a classic deflection.

i'm sure my focus has been on those supporting ukraine. quote me.

Your argument isn't so much about objective critique, it's about shifting the focus from Russia's actions

i have not addressed questions of morality.

i am talking about american propaganda re. russia's actions when under similar circumstances america took a similar path and still applies a similar policy today.

yanks keep avoiding this point because they have no answer to it.

FWIW i don't expect an answer, so stop @'ing me.

to a vague, self-serving notion of balance and doing so in the most smarmy, condescending way.

not vague at all.

ask ya mama about geese and ganders.
