You haven't given any serious suggestion as to anything that could actually be done about gas prices other than "Biden should subsidize gas prices" (whatever that means) because apparently Biden purposely increased gas prices to pay for the war in Ukraine. I'm annoyed with the gas rise, but I know my hurt is a lot less than others. People should just not buy fuel inefficient vehicles if they can't handle a crunch like this.

to answer the thread, they should subsidize it by finally raising the damn minimum wage, give people the money they need to survive in this new more expensive reality. inflation + rising costs of everything + simply being fukking behind = clear reason to pass a higher min wage
i know a patronizing thread/poster like this deserves patronizing answers, but this aint the reality for most commuters or suburban/rural residents, and living in dense walkable places is now only affordable to the most well off while public transit options lag in many metros as it both isn't comprehensive and costs a lot (ie BART in the bay area - most people need to drive to a station, pay $6-13 for parking, and $10-15 to get from the burbs to job centers in SF/OAK...not sure you come out ahead vs just driving)
