Obj got the same amount of elite seasons is he a hofer?

No the hell he doesn't.

Come on, we're comparing against contemporaries.

How many FIRST TEAM all pros does OBJ have? How about Sharpe? How many times leading the league in receptions? What about TD's?

You don't have to agree, and I know we won't, but using OBJ isn't a good argument. And, I'm one that thinks th Pro Football HOF should be more difficult to get into. I just value peak and prime much higher, that's all.

I respect your opinion, but disagree.

I don't disagree with you there. However, you also have to compare against contemporaries.

First team all pros make a difference. Sharpe has three.......OBJ has none.

Sharpe led the league in receptions three times. OBJ....none.

Sharpe led the league in TD's. OBJ has never.

And he did it when Rice was active and in his prime

He had by far the worst qb

matt Ryan rapeburger> Eli

and I don’t get this jerry rice point. jerry don’t occupy all the wr spots on stats and all pros. Maybe it shows wrs back then was not popping like that

Agreed.

I value prime and peak more than longevity, especially if the players with longevity were not "dominant".

I feel like Mike Evans is right at that line for this reason…

Terrell Davis was the best offensive player on a B2B championship team, and has playoff records that hasn't been and likely won't be broken due to the passing game becoming the foundation of NFL play.

You're not the only one but to you and the others y'all gotta stop using TD to try and make Sterling's case a slam dunk. And no I'm not saying Sterling shouldn't be in.

Plus a 2000 yd rushing season and a MVP. But I do agree that once TD and Kurt Warner got in, Sterling’s HOF chances increase.
