Master Baker
people choose to lose the plot when you anchor your argument to a job that's easily automated and the lowest of skill. focus on what min wage should do for or mean to someone
For all you people that parrot the "McDonald's jobs are for teenagers" shyt, you do realize that these restaurants don't wait till school let's out to open right?
The idea that teenagers working part time are holding up the entire workload of these restaurants is hilarious
Also raising wages does not fix anything if the people that own the property set whatever price they want.
…and? Are you saying jobs at mcdonalds and wendys should afford to live in those cities? The surrounding areas of those cities dont cost that much to live in. California is a very large state. That law will be state wide. Cali is more than just LA/SFare you insane? the cost of living in some cali cities is 35 dollars an hour
Againit’s a low skilled job that is associated with teenagers. We don’t go to school to work at McDonald’s
In McDonald's regional revenue breakdown, the U.S. accounted for roughly 8.7 billion U.S. dollars in revenue in 2021. Meanwhile, internationally operated markets such as Australia, France, Canada, and the UK made the largest overall contribution to McDonald's total revenue, with a sum of 12.09 billion U.S. dollars.
Again
Who's working these teenage jobs when the teenagers are at school? Who's opening? Who's working overnight?
Cap.A meal at let's say, Wendy's, is 8-12 dollars now. You can eat like a king at a Mexican restaurant for that same price range
Cap.
A 4 for $4 is way cheaper.
Pull up any menu.
You cannot eat like a king for 8-12 at a Mexican restaurant.
Fast food could go away and America would get healthier. Stop acting like its loss would destroy societyThis is exactly what it is. We can be wild condescending to a lot of the jobs that hold society together. Nikkas really see fast food workers as dirt and don't even try to hide it
And yes nikkas have dreams about being the boss and coming through stuntin on nikkas and barking orders
