I was like 19 in college my pops was dying and I posted this thread about my depression and I legit left that thread feeling better. Got advice and information I’d never gotten in real life before with my actual friends and family.

Even when @Supreme Leader Reinscarf helped me with a situation with one of my exes. That legit helped me make a change that I’m still grateful for today.

I’ll never forget shyt like that and I’m grateful for it.

This new shyt though, it’s aggressive, chaotic and at Times just violent

Not as much black knowledge and camaraderie but a lot of black anger and vitriol.

I used to joke about not using the site anymore but I might actually make that a priority soon come

Don’t need this level of negativity in my life going forward. Even if it’s by way of a site that I voluntarily use .

No problem. No apology necessary. I mean, it’s a discussion - gotta take the good with the bad- constructive criticism. Real talk- most of the comments are based on our experiences , life experience , we all made mistakes but it’s how you come up from those mistakes in order to position yourself for better. Just my opinion but I think you deserve much better than the situations that you expose yourself to. Your above the mental manipulation and how she chose to move with that. But at the end of the day - you need to work out what’s best for you; and what you stand to benefit from. Thing is whatever decision that you make- you gotta stick to it and let that be final. all that back and forth accomplishes nothing , more confusion and unnecessary attention.

If you keep surrounding yourself with negative energy - it becomes consuming. Then it negates all the good things that you want to do.

This is still a dope site breh. The only reason the thread went the way it did is because you're divided fam. And black people got no time for confused people when they ask for advice...I actually think that's speaking in general. It's why everywhere you go with black people (that are not trying to be white or 'fight stereotypes') you see them clown the person that refuses to see reason.
