Lake is like his father figure and he wants to paint him in the best light as possible. Many people probably forgot, when P's mural first go defaced, Mike Delorean posted a picture on IG (it was current in that time) of himself with Lake, somewhere in QB saying "Yall know what time it is"

1. I don't think Prodigy was too nice to people perse, it's just they were never really his friends to begin with. IMO, when Lake came home his whole plan was to extort nikkas which is why he deaded whatever beef Shem had with them when he came home. Ice and Cormega were on some fukk shyt though all the way.

It wasnt his first night home. According to P and Lake, Lake used to go visit them at their mini mansion in Long Island all the time. Im guessing that period is where the pics came from. P says he didnt see Lake again until 2004 Summerjam where Nas allegedly tried to set Mobb Deep up to get whupped by Lake and his crew. But Littles and his boys turned the tables and fukkked Lake:s crew up.

The fact that P had real life beef with known killers and still showed out for the hood constantly and never ran scared only adds to his legacy to me.

P might have been a little dude but he had a lot of heart.

Mos def and this is why P is one of the illest ever. It reminds me of something he said in his book - he had aggression and competitiveness in his heart but couldn't play sports because of his sickle cell. When he found hip-hop, he found that outlet to his aggression and utilized it beautifully. So P was this little dude with a serious illness but STILL stunted on motherfukkers for decades. I think he has one of the most unique stories in all of hip-hop.

The scuffle happened before they got on stage. There set even got delayed because they couldn’t get on stage on time so les delayed it. That’s when the shyt was happening. You can even tell something was going down if you look at when mobb deep comes out and towards the end how lake is acting... you might have caught the stuff after they performed. Nas was even confused and was asking les what happened to the original set... now the actual details of who got washed and who didn’t is something I don’t know. Both sides say they got their shyt off. What is amazing is after all that, prodigy got on stage and was professional and showed out with his performance. Nothing better than to get into an aggressive situation and come out and spit that gangster shyt that could have been aimed at anybody but particularly to lake at that point. Lol
