Although I do wish that more women would leave at the first sign of an abusive relationship, as previously stated unfortunately these signs come WELL AFTER the relationship has started. It hardly correlates to "picking the wrong man. "

Who gives a shyt how long you've been in the relationship. If someone slams your head against a car door and you choose to stay you are an idiot. Point blank period. I don't have any sympathy for women who can leave but choose to stay in those relationships. Oh please the fact that women of all economic backgrounds are still willing to be with a man who is an alleged abuser shows that women put themselves in stupid situations. A lot of women choose to stay in abusive relationships because they think the man will change. Those women are stupid. Yeah yeah I know they fear dying if they leave. Yet they feel staying with the man abusing them doesn't mean the next day they can die.
