A lot of Black american men will beat your ass with no hesitation.

Fob Indian and eastern European women are probably the only women in american who deal with more domestic violence than black women.

In my experience american white and asian women are not getting hands put on them like that.

Black women are also more likely to hit their men tho.

Sometimes there are no warning signs until your head just gets slammed into the car door frame

White and Asian women are definitely getting their ass whooped by their partners. Secondly the moment a man does that to you 1. You leave (sadly some women don't) and 2. You were assaulted not in an abusîve relationship.

These type mass stats ...there isn't really a discussion to be had. If this thread goes anywhere it'll be poster vs poster. As a man, or just an individual the most you can do is not abuse your woman. you're only in charge of your actions so when looking at these mass statistics all you can see is women who are victims of partners they chose. the dudes need to do better, women need to choose better.

you may now resume your previously scheduled agendas

.
i agree to a degree but still feel domestic violence is far to accepted in the black community....it's sad when there are videos of p*ssy nikkas threatning or beating on blackwomen like men and the only people that intervene to stop it are non blacks:snoop:

you were still a victim of domestic violence and your number adds to the stats of overall domestic violence. That's assuming it was an instance of physical abuse.

You can be in an abusive relationship and not "get your ass whooped" all abuse isn't physical.

I know some people on here like to bytch about him, but. Umar Johnson had some salient points about domestic violence and why it's prevalent in the black community. A big reason why is because when you're faced with a system of white supremacy, wherein you can be destroyed for taking out your anger on those who perpetrate it (cacs) oftentimes we put it on those closest to us which is other black people. Because the system does not protect blacks and there is far less accountability for doing so.

The remedy is channeling the anger all mentally healthy blacks hold toward the system of white supremacy, into healthier and more productive ways.

he's right but i wish he would have encouraged real blackman to take measures to confront and hold abusive woman beating coward blackmales accountable and intervene more to protect our sisters.

LSU Alum/AKA soror bludgeoned to death by estranged husband...sheriff victim blames because she didn't carry a firearm

Louisiana woman Monica Butler Johnson, 45, was beaten to death on Sunday night, hours after hosting a graduation party for her teenage son. Her ex-husband, David Johnson, has been charged with the crime, which police say comes after months of escalating abuse. The sheriff of Ascension Parish, where Johnson lived, suggested in an interview that her death could’ve been avoided if she’d had a concealed handgun license. He also suggested that women should kill their abusers if necessary: “Drop him.”

David Johnson is accused of breaking into Monica’s home and beating her with a baseball bat. He’s also suspected of beating Monica’s 18-year-old son when he tried to intervene, breaking the teenager’s arm. After trying to intervene, the 18-year-old son and his younger brother, 8, fled to a neighbor’s house. Police found Monica’s body in the backyard and David gone. He was arrested hours later and charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, violations of protective orders, and aggravated burglary with a weapon.

The Advocate reports that Monica Johnson, an admissions administrator at Remington College in Baton Rouge filed for a restraining order last month, saying David was following her, recording her, and that she and her sons “are not comfortable in our home.” David Johnson was previously charged with domestic strangulation against Monica on December 31, 2014. He was cautioned for trespassing — but not arrested — when he showed up at Monica’s house again on June 19.

Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley told Fox 8 that the case shows that domestic abuse victims have to be willing to use guns against their abusers, when the legal system doesn’t work:

“Use the system. Use the system. Use the system. But you know what else? Get your concealed weapons permit. Ladies, learn how to safely handle a weapon, learn how to safely store a weapon, and when you’re in a situation like this, shoot him in your back yard before he gets in your house. Drop him. I mean, I’m serious. Take the extremes necessary to live a life where you don’t have to worry about your kids and your life.”

While it’s certainly generous of Sheriff Wiley to indicate that he won’t criminally charge domestic abuse victims who kill their abusers, his statement certainly suggests that Monica Johnson was somehow responsible for preventing her own murder, and that the police and legal system are powerless, or at the very least ineffectual. It also fails to take into account that black and Latina women are far more likely to be charged with murder, manslaughter or other crimes when killing an abuser, according to the Michigan Women’s Justice and Clemency Project.
To those victim blaming, what more could she have done other than killing this b*stard?

She divorced him and filed a restraining order, yet she was still stalked and killed.

Most domestic violence in the black community happens during fights not just a guy beating on a woman.
if i didn't know any better i would say this sounds like victim blaming:what:now if the cops suggested most police police brutality and killing of blakcmen happen when the victim was resisting arrest you would be offended:comeon:

It's like you read what you want to read. A lot of women ignore red flags and still get with a man thinking they can change him. The moment someone disrespects you you need to leave. Look how many women still want to be with Floyd Mayeeather even after the allegations of him being physically abusive.

No, I read what yall wrote. You're playing the semantics game here. Although I do wish that more women would leave at the first sign of an abusive relationship, as previously stated unfortunately these signs come WELL AFTER the relationship has started. It hardly correlates to "picking the wrong man. "

And I wouldn't exactly cite a multimillionaire as an example either.

I bet after getting her head slammed into the car door frame, she still let him smash. Let's face it, a lot of black American women love these ruffian ass cavemen because they see it as a sign of strength.

:francis:

are you talking about the murdered woman in the OP....if so the coward whom killed her was a former cop and gainfully employed blackmale not exactly a common street thug...considering she broke it off and had a restraining order against this fukkboy i doubt she was enamored by the beatings.:stopitslime:

Can somebody actually explain how domestic violence is any more concealed in the black community than any other racial community? Don't just keep saying it over and over again. Prove it.

WHAT community is so gung ho to discuss the issue of domestic violence?

People completely ignored this post, I wonder why :mjpls:

i'm not sure about this woman's situation in particular..but i'm sure is case by case matter and alot of women whom end up domestic violence victims wasn't expecting it to come to that cause their partners dead a good job of hiding their habit of putting hands on women until it was too late.

Most cases of domestic violence in the black commmuty happens during a fight.
It's not victim blaming it's the truth.
