You don't need my permission to ask for her hand in marriage.

when a man knocks a woman out because he's frustrated she had it coming.

frustrated.
Not defending himself from physical harm. Just frustrated.

Why doesn the man just leave?
How weak of a so called man must you be ?

I like the sympathy for the poor verbally abused man in this instance which justifies knocking a woman out and risking his freedom and livlihood.
:sas2:

He could definitely leave, but if he knocks her out for doing the things I mentioned she had it coming.

i really dont see how domestic violence is bigger in the black community than any other.

I hate cop-out comments like this. WHO GIVES A fukk WHAT THE RATE OF DV IS IN OTHER COMMUNITIES. :mindblown:

What are we doing, building our moral compass according to the rate of ill behaviors in other races? :dahell:

So wait, I get it. It's like, since white people are routinely having sex with dogs and pigs, then, it's okay for us to do it too because, well, white people do it more? :dahell:

The point is, I love the BLACK community. THAT is what I represent and what represents me.

Therefore, if there is an epidemic of it happening in MY beloved community then I am all for it being addressed and given priority alongside many of our other issues.

Who gives a flying fukk how much more or less it's happening other communities :dahell: :dahell:

And I think the word "epidemic" is probably what has shell shocked a few people in here.

Epidemic, in the context with which it was used regarding this topic, simply means 'more than usual'.

Meaning, if the Black community reported DV at a rate of about 5% annually, and then for the next 3 years straight it shot up to 15%, that could be considered an epidemic.

It simply means it's happening at a more alarming rate, consistently, within said parameters, than what it usually happens.

And I'm all for tackling it. All that whiny "but but but other races do it more..:mjcry: " bullsh!t is just that, bullsh!t. It's just a weak cop out, no offense.

Unfortunately this is futile. You can't school a dunce if they don't want to go to class.

so speaking out against domestic violence in the black community makes me white now:russell:..show me something which states domestic violence is tied to poverty:shaq2:..the college educated and middle class former couple in the OP were exactly struggling financially..like the Dr. Umar explained in the black community similar to street violence basically weak blackmen taking their frustration out on their own people cause they are to scared to confront white supremacy.. but to play devil's advocate even if poverty was a factor it's still no excuse for a blackman to be beating his own women and children to a pulp with a baseball..poverty in the black community is totally exaggerated even most the poorest of AAs(outside of he homeless) aren't going hungry, missing many meals, and have a roof over the head.. and since when does being poor an excuse for being a cold blooded killer...you sound as stupid as those fake black intellectuals whom act as apologist for gangs and drug dealers destroying the black community cause they are a product of their environment and whitey want hire them:childplease:

What is this babble? One example of a middle class family having a DV issue does not mean DV is not connected to poverty. Poor people just have more DV everywhere on Earth, including among whites. DV Among black Americans is actually lower than cacs in parts of Europe, which speaks to the relative and absolute poverty rates among African Americans. A better question would be why cacs have higher DV when they have free health care, free university, etc in Europe. You should ask that question, cac.

Fantasy.
Things aren't that simple.
It's always that simple for some. Especially when they have never been in that situation. But let someone who has been explain their story or why it wasnt that simple and they disregard what you are saying. People who don't know what the fukk they are talking about seem to have the most to say. Oh well you don't care then :camby: They always find a way to trivialize the death of the woman.

Most things in life aren't simple. It doesn't mean you should stay in an abusive relationship.

Okay, so what do you say to the woman in the OP and this woman?
Woman fatally stabbed in Berlin Twp.

The both of them were killed after they left the relationship and distanced themselves from their abusers

Courier Post said:
When Carol Bowne felt the threat of domestic violence, the petite hairdresser took steps to protect herself.

The Berlin Township woman got a restraining order against a former boyfriend, installed security cameras and an alarm system to her home and began the months-long process of obtaining a handgun, friends said

The guy in the OP broke into their home and savagely murdered his EX-wife, the ex-wife also had a restraining order on him.

When I say things like this I'm a black man-hating c00n. Yet, you all can use it to justify the elevated rates of death of black women due to domestic violence? :ohhh:
You dont say that.

You say that good black men don't exist.

Plus I am not justifying anything.

Men lie, women lie, numbers dont. Sorry. You just hang around women that dont know when to shut up.

Numbers lie too.

That is why there is an old saying that "there are lies, then there are damn lies and then there are statistics."

That's like saying you have to own a bank to know how to invest or save money. I know women who have been in abusive relationships. I don't have to be in one to speak about it, because if everyone was agreeing with your perspective you more than likely wouldn't say that.
