No one in the thread doing all the quoting seems to acknowledge the fact that he had beat her up before, even if not this time.

Clearly this time she was prepared.

Dudes ready to turn woman beater to a martyr though :mjlol:

How the police let this happen though :dahell:

Gotta be a wrongful death suit in there somewhere

She said that he hit her 2 weeks before he was killed.

Ok, I'm sorry to hear that she was hit 2 weeks before he was killed.

And a "Martyr"?

You're reaching.

He's simply being turned into a man who was murdered by his girlfriend. No one's uplifting him to be this great man.

What we are saying is that she calmly walked to her car, got her tools for murder and killed him.

He didn't hit her that day and he was killed. Those are the facts that aren't disputed.

And usually when a man's girlfriend turns her phone off for the night to get fukked, and shows up the next morning like nothing happened it can lead to an argument with threats.

Don’t bother breh. You can picture the type of person you’re arguing with I’m sure. You’re trying to make too much sense and that’s not how this is supposed to work for them.

She came out the house, grabbed a tire iron and gun from the car and walked in and murdered him.

Unless he was attacking her before she walked outside to get the gun, then she should be in prison for premeditated murder.

Im wondering what the cops told her in response to "what if i kill him in self defense". They might have let her off easy so she wouldnt reveal what the cops said. Unless thats already been revealed. But in the article it says

"It was unclear what the officers said in response"

Is there any evidence he actually hit her? Or just her saying so:patrice:?

Is there even any evidence he threatened to hit her? The threat supposedly happened on a phone call. But never mentions if he thratened her in text.

Y’all tried to turn this into BW hating BM when in the article it plainly states that she testified that he was beating her. I’ll wait for more facts but y’all are so fukking annoying to jump to conclusions that pit BM against BW.

If it turns out that he beat her then this lenient sentence makes a lot more sense, but of course, you coli weirdos will be quiet as fukk if that ever came out to be true
You believe that bullshyt. That’s a play to beat the case. I was in the military for a minute I seen nikkas who was abusive and controlling. They controlled everything from the bank account to what she wore. A controlling dude not letting his girl go to the club solo she wouldn’t even fix her lips to ask something like that because she know better especially watching kids that’s not his. She a single mother of 3 fighting at a club and staying out all night with turn her phone off. She let random nikkas who she fukk with stay at house and be alone with her kids. Homie could be a child molester. She wasn’t even communicating with the nikka that’s alone with her kids. She turned her phone off because she left the club with another nikka. This let you know, this is just a toxic relationship. They put hands on each.

If people don't get it from the bolded they never will.
In the article in the OP they even said:
mith then came outside, where he and Johnson argued in front of the officers. As the officers tried to resolve the dispute, one of the officers said that Johnson “continued to talk over them and was combative with them,” prosecutors wrote.

she seems to be the common denominator in all the chaos and violence.

There are tons of blame to go around here, first the incompetent police and second the woman should be doing more time in prison than 5 years its way too short for what seems like a deliberate act to harm someone

The shyt's just weird, very weird.
Hear me out…I might be completely off base here but this entire sequence is odd…

At about 9 a.m. on Nov. 27, Johnson turned her phone back on and saw several messages from Smith. She then called her family members, who conference-called Smith into the conversation. An angry Smith then threatened to hit Johnson when she got home, prosecutors said.

Johnson then called 911 and asked for a police escort to her home on Edenberry Lane in Lithonia, which is about 20 miles east of Atlanta
.

When Johnson returned to the house about two hours later, one of the DeKalb County police officers who responded instructed her to place her gun in her car.”

2 hours to go 20 miles? Calling in for a police escort. Officers allowing her to make threats? Domestics are high priority calls, and most departments dispatch officers to those asap. Was she waiting for someone in particular?

Was she fukking one of the officers that were on scene
?

I’m a firm believer that leadership positions should be held by men. I’m also a firm believe that minority men who are in a leadership position should put white men in leadership on check.

Keep waiting for laws instead of actually getting these positions

Most black men in leadership are inspiring white men, knowingly or unknowingly. These black men arent much better than the women.

But I think in domestic violence cases, both black men and women would first look for why a woman killed the man. Was she a victim of some sort of violence?

So both have a level of bias when it comes to protecting women. But women take it to the extreme of not needing evidence. Whereas men know, women have no problem lying about violence and rape to save their ass. Its almost like women completely erase those scenarios from their memory bank. Men have our own personal experiences, and keep note.

Then when you add in the inability to seperate your personal bitterness , and "girl power" ideologies from your proffession:picard:

But these are our Frankensteins, this is how it was for women decades ago. The rabbit got the gun now:respect:

Very weird situation all around, definitely a strange situation to say the least.
