“You can be anything” - Nope, forced to be a sweatshop miner at the beginning of the game
“1,000 planets” - I guess, only they have the same 3 outposts between them
“Thrilling space combat” - Nope, more like Time Crisis mini game


And now we found out , the only type of alien you see is a space roach
