To your point, in the past if a person thought “I’m going somewhere alone and I wanna drink”,
they would actually have to think about:

(1) well, I better take it real light so I can be safe driving
(2) well, let me see if I can find a DD/friend to drive

...and if they really wanted to drink that bad to where they had to plan too much, they might actually
start to ask deeper questions about themselves. But nah - you don’t have to do that anymore because
there are more ways to not have to worry about stuff like that until later when it becomes an issue some other way.

I've seen hella women talk about how they dont get much sleep. Anxiety tends to keep you up at night (tons of thoughts running through your head about how unhappy you are about life/being afraid of your inevitable destiny/questioning if the path you're on was worth it/etc).

Funny enough all these women get psych degrees yet their mental health is the worst it's ever been in recorded history.

That's crazy to me how a lot of mental health workers got all kinda issues, drinking/drug users, have drinking issues, take mental health meds, etc. and they are social workers, therapists, etc. This is with men and women.
