What does that have to do with an asterisk if the season is resumed..... Will asterisks apply to MLB/NHL champs as well?

We’re already 60+ games into the season, we gotta finish it. If it were 10-20 games, then I would have no problem with them canceling it.
June 15-July 15- Finish the regular season, make it 10 games for all teams. Finish the regular season at 76 games in. Play the games in one city, one facility, you can play 3-5 games a day.
Jul 15- 1 Sep- Playoffs, continue it in the same city and facility unless the world is half way back normal. Do a 5-7-7-7 format, other than the 4 and 5 match up, we rarely get upsets in NBA, no need to have a 7 game series first round.
Then start the next season Christmas day.

The lockout seasons merely started later than usual. There were no interruptions mid season. It's been two months since the suspension. The usual flow of a season didn't occur, aka the ups, downs, and runs teams go on. There was literally basketball one day and no basketball the next. There's no telling how the rest of the season would have progressed, what shape teams would be in, or even what seeds they would be in by the time the playoffs started. That's all without mentioning this play-in idea they have. I don't care how much these guys have been working out, they haven't been playing even semi-competitive basketball for a couple months. That's longer than they would go during the offseason. So at least the first round is going to be a worse product anyway. This isn't just a shortened season. It's unprecedented.

I could get with this if there hasn't been 50 percent games more played than the lockout season...... and with a proper preliminary to the restart of the season, I can't foresee any real issues.. .they are professionals... these guys make impromptu teams with very lil practice and compete and win against the worlds best every 4 years.... I haven't heard about the play in idea... that sounds like it might suck.. and typically, the first round of the playoffs are the least entertaining of the offs genuinely speaking....
