im not saying scrap the season because of that like shaq but absolutely a title during a shortened season isnt the same as doing it during a full season. youre on a level playing field this season but in comparison to other seasons its not invalidated but cheapened. that will have no bearing on the nba's ultimate decision with money obviously being their no.1 priority.

the problem with coming back is the quick 5 min covid19 test has a false negative rate of reportedly 14.8% and thats likely what they would use directly before and after games so theres the possibility of it slipping through as we've seen with the 2 white house members. if the nba opens up training camp to finish this season how many players testing positive would it take for them to get cold feet and like already mentioned what if a superstar tests positive or multiple players test positive after a game because of a false negative pregame test.

Team gets swept. shyt, it takes 2 weeks sometimes for symptoms to show up. I have no idea. I know there are rapid tests that give results in as little as 5 minutes, but how available are they, and can enough be spared to be used for the duration of the playoffs. Regardless, what happens if a player tests positive? Shouldn't the whole team, in theory, be quarantined? Possibly any team they've played, as well as any hotel staff, etc?
