YeahPaying for celebrity guest cost money as people aren’t doing podcast these days for free.
I think this is it right here. All Shannon has to do is show up , interview, and leave. If he ran things himself he’d have to come out of pocket and be responsible for production etc…On a bigger scale I think it’s similar to why Pat Macafee went to ESPN because they will handle everything behind the scenes. Most talents just wanna get in and get out and don’t wanna have to deal with that other shytThat's what I was thinking. Maybe there's a level of infrastructure on the back end that were not aware that Shannon doesn't want to do himself.

I don’t know if it’s always been the case or been more prevalent since more and more celebrities are now doing podcasts.
From what Marcellus said his cameras and setup is hella expensive. Why does he need to be on any “network”. He can’t just be on YouTube?
This is just for club shay shay. He has another announcement tomorrowI like this move better than the ESPN one
And his staff were probably on FOX's payroll. From what Marcellus said his cameras and setup is hella expensive.

I just don't see how Shannon paying Steve Harvey or Omarion makes any sense. All these celebs are dying to talk about themselves and according to his article are willing to pay to do so. He was talking about it so confidently I just wanted to see some sources or corroboration of what he was asserting. I'm sure he'll circle back to clarify.Buddy is a good guy and kinda knowledgeable but he acts like he's plugged in.
Same for me. I said in the other thread that he has enough cache to plant his own flag and do his own thing and before people start I'm hearing this is a partnership and he not just an employee like he would be over at Disney. ESPN is a dying platform and those rounds of layoffs just wouldn't sit well with me. I'm glad he's not doing the conventional easy thing which is to play musical chairs. Hope it works out.I like this move better than the ESPN one
