It’s a bad faith argument to say Quinn’s unit is the reason why we suck
Nobody is saying the defense is stellar. Or even consistent. But what can reasonably be expected out of Quinn and that unit?
The Steelers traded a 1st to get Minkah. The Ravens also traded capital to get Roquan Smith, and then gave him $100mil.
We spend all of our money and draft capital on offense. Across the board, EVERYTHING is spent on offense. We spent a 1st on Micah and a 2nd on Trevon. We spent a 2nd on DLaw back when Clinton was president.
This team gives Quinn a meager Aldi’s store run worth of groceries and brehs expecting Michelin star dining.
This fukking offense should be jumping out to early leads and keeping their foot on teams’ neck. And our defense should be able to hold up. That’s the way this roster is constructed. That’s how they utilize their salary cap and draft board. For decades.
The defense is certainly culpable for the blown leads against Green Bay and Jacksonville. But so is the offense. This dikkhead keeps throwing unforgivable INTs at the worst times. The offense stalls out and looks putrid in some of the biggest moments.
Maybe we should spend all those 1sts and give out 8-9 figure contracts to the defense instead. This offense better come out and score points on Monday. I don’t want to hear about Quinn or the defense. They put everything in the offense. Let’s fukking see it.
